IAIN Palu Rector, Prof. Dr. H. Sagaf S Pettalongi monitored the presence of officials and ASN directly at IAIN Palu on Monday.

The State Islamic Institute (IAIN) of Palu, Central Sulawesi, began to again boost the quality of academic services after Eid al-Fitr 1440 Hijri, to support academic quality.

"Academic service is one of the focuses that must be taken seriously by each component of the academic community," said the Deputy Rector for General Administration, Planning, IAIN Palu, Dr. Kamaruddin on Monday.

Therefore, the Rector of IAIN Palu, Prof. Dr. H. Sagaf S Pettalongi M.Pd, along with the vice-chancellors monitoring the presence of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) or inspection in each faculty, unit, institution, within the university.

Prof. Sagaf Pettalongi walked from his office around the campus to ensure the presence of the deans, deputy deans, regents, head of departments, department heads, study program heads, agency heads and units.

The Faculty of Islamic Education and Da'wah became the first faculty visited by Prof. Sagaf Pettalongi. The Professor of Education Management, wants to see the discipline of the lecturers who have the additional task of holding academic services as deans, vice deans.

His presence on the faculty was welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Education, Dr. Lukman S Thahir. Prof. Sagaf asked about the presence of the representatives of the deans, the regents, the heads and department secretaries and the heads of study programs at the faculty.

He also requested that the attendance list of lecturers with additional assignments as well as all ASN in the Faculty of Islamic Education to be submitted.

"As directed by the Head of the Ministry of Religion's Bureau of Personnel that the entire attendance list for today, must be sent to the Ministry of Religion, as a form of report," he said.

From the Ushuluddin Faculty, Prof. Sagaf continued the inspection to the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty. In this Faculty, he was welcomed by the Dean of the Tarbiyah Faculty Dr. Idhan. Continue to the Faculty of Sharia and the Faculty of Islamic Business Economics, welcomed by each dean of the faculty.

Prof. Sagaf Pettalongi hopes that the lecturers who do not get the additional assignment of academic organizers, in order to continue building cooperation to provide academic services to post-Fitri students.
